Account Data

• Password (hashed — we never store your plaintext password)
• Account creation date

Uploaded Content

• Video and audio files you upload for transcription
• Transcription results (subtitle segments and text)
• File metadata (name, size, duration)

Usage Data

• Transcription history and status
• Minutes used and wallet balance
• Feature usage patterns (anonymized)

Payment Data

Payment is processed by Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider. We do not store your credit card number or full payment details. We receive only confirmation of successful payment and your subscription status.

Technical Data

• IP address
• Browser and device type
• Timestamps of actions (login, upload, etc.)

2. How We Use Your Data

We do not use your uploaded content to train AI models. We do not sell your data.

3. Third-Party Data Processors

To provide the Service, we share data with the following processors:

Your audio content is sent to ElevenLabs and Google Gemini solely to generate your transcription. These providers process your data under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your content to third parties.

4. Data Retention

Upon account deletion, your personal data and uploaded content are permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

5. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and data
• Portability — request your transcription data in a machine-readable format
• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest

6. Data Security

• All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS (TLS)
• Files are stored in private, access-controlled cloud storage
• Authentication uses industry-standard JWT tokens
• We apply Row Level Security (RLS) so users can only access their own data

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to protecting your data to a reasonable standard.

7. Cookies

DarijaCC uses minimal cookies necessary for maintaining your login session and remembering your preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not use third-party analytics that track you across the web.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International Data Transfers

Our infrastructure is hosted by Supabase. If you are located outside the region where Supabase hosts your data, your information may be transferred internationally. We ensure that any such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or in-app notice before they take effect. The updated date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
